I moved from Bangkok to the UK in 1990, and have run Thai restaurants in the UK since 1994.
I love to eat and cook. I like to get to know my customers and chat with them about what they like to eat! My chef and I love the challenge of tailoring a dish to each person’s taste.
In 2000 I moved to Hertford and started to run the first Thai restaurant in town called Thai Rack in Parliament square.
Then in 2004, I branched out to open restaurants in both Barnet and Dunstable.
Soon after, I opened Elle’s Thai Kitchen takeaway back in Hertford. This was followed in 2014 by the opening of Khunnai Thai restaurant in Stanstead Abbotts.
My son and I both love Japanese food and after looking for suitable premises we were finally able to open a Japanese restaurant called Oishii in Hertford.
In November 2017, the Elle’s Kitchen takeaway then expanded from just a takeaway into a full restaurant located two doors away originally. So here we are at Elle’s Kitchen now. And in addition, we offer a delivery service to those who live within a three-mile radius and ‘call and collection’ service for those who live a little further away.
Many of my loyal customers from the very beginning when I first opened a restaurant in Hertford still come to support me by eating with us in all three of our restaurants. Here at Elle’s Kitchen we cook Asian food which is a mix of all Asian fusion styles so you can find something, not only interesting, but we guarantee that all our ingredients are fresh, seasonal and without adding MSG (Monosodium glutamate). I hope you will enjoy our food here.
All my customers are very important to me. I like to know their thoughts and feedback; any suggestions, please do not hesitate to let us know.
I’m excited to meet my new customers and working with them to create their perfect meal!
Thank you very much for reading this. Enjoy your meal!
